Old school rocking horse for sale
When I had to go toy shopping recently for a gift (for a 7 year-old boy), I came to the conclusion that kids today were just plain spoilt, not necessarily by parents but rather, the advancement in technology and the vast array of toys, gadgets on offer.
I still remember the good old days when me and my mates could spend hours playing marbles, matchbox cars and getting into some mischief with our He-Man swords. While I'm sure some of these traditional pastimes will never go out of fashion with young kids - just like ever popular matchbox cars - I think most of these things would be cast aside for the Nintendo DS's, web-shooting Spiderman gloves and Ironman 'jet-packs', just to name a few.
So you can probably understand my excitement when I came across this old style rocking horse. Its 'old-schoolness' has awesome written all over it and while you may or may not have kids that would want to ride it, it would still standout as an awesone piece of furniture in the living room.
This full-sized rocking horse is made from solid wood and even comes with a leather saddle. The seller doesn't say how old it is but it appears to have aged quite well and still bears all the hallmarks of great craftsmanship.
Priced at $130, I reckon it's a good deal. Spend a little more on a new paintjob and you will have a great looking toy or furniture.
