Old school rocking horse for sale

When I had to go toy shopping recently for a gift (for a 7 year-old boy), I came to the conclusion that kids today were just plain spoilt, not necessarily by parents but rather, the advancement in technology and the vast array of toys, gadgets on offer.

I still remember the good old days when me and my mates could spend hours playing marbles, matchbox cars and getting into some mischief with our He-Man swords. While I'm sure some of these traditional pastimes will never go out of fashion with young kids - just like ever popular matchbox cars - I think most of these things would be cast aside for the Nintendo DS's, web-shooting Spiderman gloves and Ironman 'jet-packs', just to name a few

Cheap heaters for sale

There's only a few days to go until the start of winter and I'm already starting to feel the cold weather - especially at night. And as much as I hate to say it, I reckon we're in for a cold one this year.

For those that don't have a sizeable heater at home or live in a house with central heating, a good strong heater is essential to get you through the months ahead

Cheap sofa bed

Sofa-beds are great for a variety of reasons - they can be used mainly as a sofa and double up as a bed for when the occasion arises.

This convenience and practicality makes it ideal for people who live in smaller homes i.e. studios, one-bedroom apartments etc. I wouldn't recommend a sofa bed as a permanent substitute for a proper bed and mattress but when you have unexpected guests over or mates that are too wasted to go home on a Fri/Sat night, they are a much better alternative to crashing on the floor

I was carrying a wine bottle the other day and my hands got really sore. 'Damn,' I exclaimed, ' these bottles are just so unergonomic. There must be a better way!'

If only I knew

Second-hand Acer Ferrari 3200

Ever wanted to own a Ferrari but just couldn't afford it?

Welcome to the club, buddy! I've always been fond of red Ferraris and computers. Erm..what has computers got to do with Ferraris or vice versa? The Acer Ferrari series is a popular range of laptops manufactured by Acer with the support of Ferrari and comes painted with the same high-gloss, red finish favoured by the Italian race-car maker

Cheap ASUS USB Digital TV receiver

These days, large 24" (and even bigger 30") LCD monitors are not uncommon for home PCs and they greatly enhance any form of computing experience whether it be gaming or for graphics design purposes.

Given the growing size of LCD monitors and regular price drops, more and more people are choosing to watch TV on the PC while still browsing the net or chatting with friends. Watching the telly on a PC or laptop is easy - all you need is a universal serial bus (USB) digital TV receiver

Sesame Street Highchair

There's almost nothing more secure than the Sesame Street gang stickered all over your high chair. You know they've got your back - all of them. Bert, Ernine, the Count, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Big Bird.

The only problem with this chair is that the characters come to life after midnight. Then they roam your house, eating dead skin and old potato chips that they find on the floor. They can climb walls, too, so when you see shadows in the corner of the ceiling, don't think it's a trick of the eyes

Cheap Apple iMac for sale

Admittedly, I've never owned an Apple iMac because I prefer to build my own PCs from the ground up and to my exact specifications but there's no denying that they're an awesome piece of kit with a good combination of stunning good looks and great usability.

The iMac is available in both 20- and 24-inch widescreen models with a 2.0GHz or 2.4GHz processor and a ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT graphics processor with 128MB of GDDR3 memory or ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory

Cheap house for sale in rural Harden

It seems like more and more home sellers are turning to online auctioneering and classifieds sites to sell their properties due to the exorbitant fees real estate are charging these days and who could blame them?

Take this 1920’s semi-detached weatherboard “railway cottage” set on a quarter acre site. According to the seller, this is a beautifully renovated cottage with features including three double bedrooms with new carpets (one with fireplace); new kitchen; new bathroom with cast iron bath; two toilets; dining room; large laundry; large hot water system; polished original floors in hall, lounge and kitchen; internal wall linings of Australian red cedar and Cyprus pine; slow combustion heater; ceiling fans; and roof insulation

Toilet for sale

I've never owned my own home, so I guess it always seems strange when people 'buy' toilets. After all, every place that I lived in has already had a toilet. Doesn't the house just spontaneously form one?

I once lived in a neighborhood where a toilet shop opened up. I'm not sure how much business they did, but it sure didn't look like a thriving business

Brand new Apple iPhone 16GB version

Released in mid-2007, the Apple iPhone is still the most talked about mobile phone some 10 months after its release.

More recently an upgraded version of the iPhone was released over in the US with double the storage capacity of the original version (which remains on sale) at 16GB. This extra capacity means a whole heap of extra storage space for songs, pictures and other applications which users may wish to customise their iPhones with and has successfully spiked further interest in Apple's funky gadget until a much rumoured 3G-compatible version is released

Dior Sunglasses

Someone sat on my last pair of sunglasses, rendering them almost useless. I say 'almost' because I could still balance them on my nose and half-wear them, though I suspect that had less to do with the integrity of the sunglasses and more to do with the size of my nose.

Sunglasses can be dangerous in that respect... if you've got an elephantine nose, you risk highlighting it. The people with wonky eyes are pretty glad that sunglasses are ubiquitous - you see dark shades in nightclubs, apparently to cast a look of mysterious glamour
