Expensive shelf mimics iTunes Cover Flow and only holds 5 CDs

Some people just love Apple to death; they even get the apple tattooed on their arm, or speak like the guy from the "I'm a Mac" ads.

You know, these ads:

One of the nice things about Apple is that they're always thinking about how to make things look good. This is evident in their iPods and MacBooks, but also in little things, like Cover Flow for iTunes.

Here's a demo of how sexy Cover Flow is:

In case you can't get enough of Cover Flow, some lazy designer has created a CD shelf to mimic the effect in the space we call Real Life.

That's right - you put your CDs on this shelf, and it looks like you've got a Mac on - all the time!

From the post:

"Think about it too hard and you might notice its small inadequacies (it can only hold five jewel cases and doesn't rotate), but it's the cleverly ironic idea that counts, right?"

Yeah, that's right... it only holds 5 CDs at a time. But if you're the type of person that would be smug enough to buy this, you probably love the idea of displaying your 'Top 5!' albums at any given time.

Here's an image of what it looks like, without CDs in it.

That's right - cut a couple of holes in a piece of wood and paint it black, you lazy hipster...
