Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34 1966

1966 Type 34 Karmann Ghia Coupe - Known as the "RAZOR". Red and White. In Very Good Condition. Only minor rust in doors. Has been restored about 15 years ago. The car has been in storage for the past 5 years. It has only been used for occasional historic club run. A classic car that is increasing in value. Must sell, Need the space and cash for other projects.


1968 AMC Javelin

One of a handful left and in excellent condition throughout. Its registered till Nov 2007 and the plates are included. Engine was fully rebuilt 2 yr ago, its fitted with an extremley rare offenhauser twin 4 barrel manifold and running 2 chromed Edelbrock 500 carbies, hardened valves and seats for unleaded. It was resprayed also 2yr ago in Ferrari Marenello Red. It sits on 245/40 fronts and 265/50 rear BF Goodrich tyres. Also included are loads of spares such as heads, manifolds, rods, pistons, etc, a brand new(still boxed) Edelbrock Performer cam and lifters set, a set of Headman extractors and other bits and pieces. Mini Cooper S 1966

Mini, awesome fun little car. Goes well, no electrical/engine problems. Resprayed in New Mini Hyper Blue. Original seats, apart from the driver's seat, which is a Cobra Racing seat. Not the original engine, the engine was totally rebuilt by the previous owner, has spent a great amount of time in the garage as the third car. With a one and a half year old and the next one on the way, the mini needs to go to make room for something a bit more grown-up and responsible, wife's words not mine. Price is for the vehicle unregistered, runs out of rego this week, but I will supply a current pink slip with the car, transport can be arranged, but the cost (could be a fair bit) will be covered by purchaser. On the compliance plate it says: Type: YKG2S2 CAR NO: 1853 ENGINE NO: 9F/Sa/Y 41366 COLOUR: 1/ TOGA WHITE 1/ NEW BRIT.RAC.GRN/3 This is my baby, and I am very sad to see it go.


Triumph Stag

The time has come to sell my beloved Triumph Stag. This car has provided me with three years of unbridled pleasure, but due to my insatiable desire for a Silver Shadow, it must make way.

Despite what so called experts might say, the Stag is not the lemon it is purported to be. Yes, there were initial design and assembly problems, but these days, with expert knowledge, a Stag can be a most enjoyable and reliable alternative to a modern car.

In its day, the Stag had only one real competitor - the Mercedes Benz R107 SL. Though the SL may have the edge in terms of sheer class and presence, the Stag is, in my opinion, the superior driver's car. While the R107 went the luxury cruiser path, the Stag retained a sporting edge - its sharp rack and pinion steering, its sublime and hearty V8 throb..... All with room for four. A tragically underrated car, considered by many to be the best car to emerge from British Leyland.

This particular example is a credit to both Triumph and its previous owners.

Bodily, the car is in very good condition. There is no rust to be seen - only a few age related parking dings detract from what is otherwise a lovely car. The hardtop is original to the car, and in very good condition, with none of the typical rust.

In terms of interior, the car is similarly lovely. The seats are in excellent condition, as are the carpets, which were replaced at a cost of $1800 not long before I took custody of the car. The only real point of note relates to the dashboard wood, which, while presentable, would benefit from refinishing.

Mechanically, the car is in very good condition. I have recently rebuilt the front suspension, including the top strut mounts. I have also replaced the diff pinion seal, along with the quill shaft bearing. The alternator is a rebuilt replacement from a reliable source. Aside from tyres in need of replacement, there are no issues of note.
