Cheap ASUS Eee PC
The ASUS Eee PC is a hugely popular range of portable computers best known for its combination of lightweight, affordability and user-friendliness. The name Eee itself is derived from "the three Es," an abbreviation of its advertising slogan for the device: "Easy to learn, Easy to work, Easy to play".
The 700 series was the original Eee PC with the Eee PC 701 being the first model in that particular range. Released on October 16, 2007 in Taiwan, the Asus Eee PC 4G was powered by an Intel Celeron M 900MHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB 4GB SDHC of storage capacity. It boasts a 7" screen, 3 USB ports, LAN, WI-FI, built-in web cam and preinstalled with Linux and a bunch of useful software such as OpenOffice, FireFox, Thunderbird and Skype.
Retailing for $499 brand new, this 6 month old, barely used Eee PC 701 is selling for half that at just $250. A great little laptop for on-the-go purposes - it's so tiny it can fit in a handbag - it comes with warranty still intact, manuals, charger, box and neoprene cover.
